NORTH AND MID WALES TUTOR: Jean Napier arps
Welcome to my Students’ Gallery and one of My Own Images
(Click on Gallery listing on righthand side of the page to open)
Take a look at my students’ gallery; this is filled with the amazing images taken by my students both on the one-day workshops and 1-to1 days at various locations plus the residential weekend.
One-day workshops and a new Weekend Residential date have now been added to the North and Mid Wales calendar for 2012 for you to browse.
- Erddig is a magnificent house set in striking formal grounds, beautiful flowerbeds and lakes and surrounded by wild woodland. Horse-drawn carriages can be seen touring around.
- Coed y Brenin (The Forest of the King) is a vast forest containing a wide variety of trees, rivers and waterfalls of all sizes plus the remains of a gold mine hidden away.

- Plas y Brenin (Palace of the King) the spectacular setting for the Weekend Landscape Weekend, is the Snowdonia Mountain Centre and is situated by a lake at the foot of Snowdon.
Many of places on my workshops have been bought as a present and Gift Vouchers can be obtained through the main GD site.
I have been photographing in the magnificent Snowdonia National Park where I live for over 20 years and have produced four books on the infinitely varied landscape. My main passion is the rivers of north and mid Wales and three books plot the rivers from source to sea – the latest following the Conwy from a lake in remote high moorland down to Conwy Town and the Orme.

Thank you very much for the great weekend. I learned a lot about how to use my camera which will give me a good foundation to build on. You took us to some stunning scenery and was always on hand to give advice.
The accomodation was excellent and the food delicious. It was in a wonderful location!!
Thank you again – I’m thrilled with the photos!
Best wishes Christine (Corfield)
Hi Jean,
I just needed to thank you for the wonderful weekend, the course was just perfect with great locations and great company and I believe I learnt a great deal, techniques and lessons that will serve me well in the future. But most of all it has reignited my passion for photography which I had hoped it would.
Regards Chris Taylor
